Kiana

I was a classical violinist who wanted to sound like a fiddler.

I spent years learning how to play violin correctly — conservatory training, competitions, orchestras, and eventually a degree in violin performance from the University of Michigan.

Then I discovered fiddle music.

Suddenly I had to learn a completely different musical language: how to learn by ear, find groove, improvise, understand style and trust myself without everything written on the page.

That journey eventually took me around the world — from touring with Barrage and Gaelic Storm to Broadway's Come From Away, four Billboard #1 albums, and now Howley.

Fiddle Club is the resource I wish I'd had when I was figuring all of this out.
